Where are we now?

Our customers orders are being picked in our warehouse in the Botlek. Every day we send about 15,000 jars with our carrier. Together with the carrier, we will ensure that we can send 15,000 orders per week. As a team leader, you manage a group of order pickers, ensure that the planning is in order and that all processes are getting better and better.

This is what you will do

• Managing and motivating the cleaning/fulfilment employees together with the other team leaders to achieve the set goals. This also ensures that you achieve your own goals;

• Train and guide new employees;
• Solve problems independently and possibly in consultation with other departments and organizations such as customer service, our delivery partner or logistics service provider in order to get all orders to the customer as efficiently as possible;
• Solve problem orders, together with customer service, our delivery partner & other teams within Pieter Pot;
• Create schedules necessary to meet the planned number of orders. You scale capacity up and down and you plan both personnel and transport;
• Improving existing processes and setting up new ones. Everything to make work as efficient as possible.

What is in your jar?

• Experience in managing & motivating a team in a logistics environment;

• You enjoy working in the process & like to lead by example to your colleagues;
• You are naturally good at planning and organizing & you communicate easily with colleagues;
• Knowledge of WMS systems & programs such as Excel & Google sheets;
• A forklift and/or reach truck certificate is a plus;
• You are available full-time in varying shifts (Monday to Sunday between 06:00 and 22:00) & you have a driving license and your own transport to get to the warehouse.
